Ask the jail what public information can be released by phone. Custody status, booking date, bond status if public, court date if known, and outside holds may be handled differently from private medical, juvenile, sealed, or victim-related information. Valley County Jail Visits
Valley County's official detention FAQ lists video visitation through InmateSales. Visits must be scheduled in advance, must be at least 20 minutes, and require appropriate dress. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. All visitors must have state-issued picture identification. The county lists both free lobby kiosk visits and paid remote visits, so confirm custody before scheduling and check the rules before using the vendor.

Valley County Inmate Contact
Mail to the jail uses the format "Inmate's Name, C/O Valley County Jail, PO Box 1350, Cascade ID 83611." The FAQ says inmates may have a soft-bound Bible and books sent directly from a bookstore or publisher. It also says envelopes and writing paper cannot be sent in because they are available through commissary, and all incoming mail must have a full return address.

Valley County State and Federal Searches
